Harry P.J. (sold!)
Harry P.J. is a 4 ½ year old gelding. He was born in the Netherlands and is due to be imported in early January. His sire is Tsjibbe and his dam’s sire is the Preferent stallion Mark.
Very nice conformation and clean in the legs. Harry has just had a veterinary exam and passed with flying colors.
Harry has plenty of stride and athletic ability to be used for dressage, sport or trail. He's an all around great gelding. He is green-broke at this stage and is still being trained while awaiting export. Wonderful character on this young horse and very well socialized. Harry is currently about 15-3 and will continue to grow throughout the coming year. He could easily attain 16+ hands.
Inbreeding coefficient of 3.12% gives him a good mix of genes without being over the 5% range that would be considered detrimental. This is a “full papered” gelding that has been started under saddle and will be ready to continue his training once he arrives in New York. |
Update 9-7-2006 What a sweetie. I won't be unhappy if this guy doesn't sell because then I can keep him around for my daughter. We all just love him. This is the guy my almost 4 year old takes lessons on! He's awesome and perfect for a first horse, trail, or anything you want to use him for. Talk about heart! And the softest eye you've ever seen. We're aren't touting his papers here, tho he sure doesn't have bad ones but we brought Harry, Hedser, and Gosse from Holland to offer, not as the Friesian for their breeding possibilities (obviously as we gelded them immediately) but because of his character and soundness. And we didn't buy these horses off the internett either folks. Dan and I went to Friesland, stable to stable, freeaing our rears off looking for just this type of ride . We've had Harry almost a year now. Daily handling, training and love. He's steady, happy, and healthy. Never a sick day, never a problem. This is your new best buddy, Friesian Lovers. He has a very nice stride for dressage with strong athletic movement and a canter that is rhythmic and smooth.
His birthday is July 11, 2002.
Hedzer has just passed a complete veterinary physical and he's fit as a fiddle!

SOLD Hedzer
Sired by Jasper, who produces gorgeous modern horses with Friesian type, Hedzer is a 3 ½ year old gelding born in the Netherlands and due to be imported to New York in early January.
His dam’s sire is Dirk. Mother and Grandmother are both Ster. Inbreeding coefficient is low at 2.54% and Hedzer shows great modern conformation. He has been started the right way under saddle and is showing great promise.
Great personality on this boy too!! Hedzer has the attitude and mind to go far as he simply wants to be somebody’s very best friend in the whole world. He nicker's every time you walk in the barn. Rub his head and he just melts into your arms!
He is currently about 15-3 and will continue to grow through out this next year. Great mind, character and work ethic on this young athletic and well started gelding. And did I mention HAIR!! This gelding has the athletic ability, mind set and fluid movements to go upper level. Very reasonable price on a young gelding of this caliber. If you have any experience at all you should have no problem finishing out this good thinking gelding.

His sire is the recently deceased Otte 375 and his dam’s sire is the famous Lute.
His birthdate is March 21, 2002.
His legs are very clean without bumps or knots and his conformation allows him to be quite fluid and athletic. Gosse has a thick mane and very nice feathering. He's Friesian type through out. Don't miss out on this very nice gelding at a very reasonable price.

Gosse I'm SOLD
Gosse is a 4 year old gelding whom I've been calling “Gus” because he has such a friendly personality and is always so happy to see everybody. Gosse is a great guy with a good mind and really tries to do whatever you ask of him. He should have a blanket that says “plays well with others” as he is very social and well adjusted. Your whole family will fall in love with him. He has a good work ethic and is not lazy. He was born in the Netherlands and is due to arrive to New York in early January. His inbreeding coefficient is 3.32%. He has been started under saddle and is progressing well in his current training. He is green-broke and will need continued support and guidance as he is growing and learning. He is currently about 15-2 to 15-3 and will continue to grow through out the coming year. Nobody can say at this point how tall he will be but I expect him to gain another 2 inches in height. Gosse has a nice neck that comes up well out of his withers. He also has very nice stride and could easily go dressage. He is the more modern type and will therefore have the stamina to go sport horse as well. He has just passed a complete veterinary examination and is raring to go! Certainly he will be capable of trail riding and best friend status as he is very well adjusted socially and really likes people.
